Industrial Symbiosis Feasibility Report
One-on-one interviews were held with the public, NGOs and HORECA before and after the Antalya Workshop held in Antalya Province on 9 January 2020. These interviews provided critical bases for mapping food waste, positioning stakeholders in waste prevention, and reviewing symbiosis possibilities. With these one-on-one meetings and workshop meetings, the possibilities of preventing and reducing food wastes occurring in the food value chain in Antalya Province and their use in other sectors where possible were determined. In the light of the data and information obtained from different stakeholder groups within the scope of the project, the needs of the food value chain on waste management were analyzed and solutions were proposed for this purpose. As a result of field studies, workshops, one-to-one interviews and literature reviews conducted in Antalya Province, a comprehensive “Industrial Symbiosis Possibilities Result Report” was prepared.
